Breakfast was great - would extend hours slightly - cutting off at 9 even when customer has plate in hand is a little extreme especially with families. Walking distance to all conveniences. Front desk staff friendly. hidden gem that the locals may miss for family/friends visiting.

The staff and Breakfast (great selection and WAY better then the "standard" complimentary breakfast) is what made this location a 10. Checked in fairly late and they were over booked (through 3rd party sites). The front desk receptionist seemed overwhelmed trying to find a room. Then Alex showed up, he was apologetic and assisted with finding an avaliable room. We got a king room even through we booked a 2 queen. He saw we had kids and stopped us in the lobby and changed rooms around again to accommodate for us (even though we were fine with a king room). Alex was there the next morning and greeted us and asked to make sure everything was good with the stay and breakfast. Would definitely stay here again if/when we are in the area.

Older hotel, however, attention is paid to giving a personal touch that you don't see in most Best Westerns. I enjoyed the bed firmness and found a pillow I liked among the choices on the bed. Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast choices were plentiful and food was good!

The staff is so happy, helpful, and friendly. I asked a desk clerk why the employees were so much more pleasant than at most Best Westerns. He credited easy going customers and a great boss! Another plus was substantial breakfast and abundant easy parking!

I cannot emphasize what a joyful relief it was to stay here on the last day of our trip after staying in several less-than-acceptable places. The room was beautiful, spacious, exceptionally clean with a nice large refrigerator and bathroom. The beds were comfortable and the room quiet. I had some mobility issues so they put us on the first floor in a room that was close to everything. But the most impressive things is that from check-inn to check-out, the manager treated us like we were important, like royalty. He was attentive, charming and dedicated to making our stay a great one. Makes us want to come back!

The customer service at the front desk and the breakfast were way above and beyond what I've come to expect at a hotel like this. So helpful in every way, and enjoyed chatting with the manager as he came around and visited with tables as we were eating breakfast. There was lovely outdoor seating for breakfast on a beautiful couple of mornings. We weren't able to use the pool, but its setup looks like a mini version of a luxury resort. We actually are going to come back in a few weeks to have a staycation and spend a day at the pool!

So, a bit disappointed to be given the ADA room hated the idea that 2 mostly able-bodied people would take that from potential people who might need it. Now the room was surprisingly quiet and the bed was very comfortable when most hotels have a sheet of plywood for a mattress, the pillows were even better.

Great proximity to the Evergreen Fairgrounds. Nice clean room with a great bath, set up to provide for a disabled adult. Dog friendly is a plus for those traveling with pets. Very nice breakfast buffet.
